You’ll earn points on every Careem ride you take. No sign up required! The number of points you earn depends on the cost of the ride. You’ll earn points on all rides paid by cash, card, or invoice. You won’t earn points on rides taken using a Package or Careem Credit, but you will earn points for topping up your Wallet with credit (excluding Fawry top ups in Egypt). Points are awarded based on the actual spend on Careem. Unpaid or free rides will not earn you points.

Yes, your Careem points will expire after 6 to 12 months, so make sure you use them! Points earned between 1 Jan - 30 Jun will expire on 31 Dec of the same year, and points earned between 1 Jul - 31 Dec will expire on 30 Jun of the following year.

All Careem Customers earn points automatically without signing up, which means there’s no need for opting out. If you don’t want to use your points that’s up to you, but who doesn’t want some sweet discount?
