  • What are Laundry services?

    The laundry service is provided by Washmen which was launched in 2015. Washmen is a digital laundry & dry cleaning service to put an end to laundry-related misery.

    Washmen provides the following services :

    1. Dry cleaning
    2. Wet cleaning
    3. Hand washing
    4. Bulk load washing
    5. Air dry
    6. Tumble dry
    7. Steam press
    8. Iron press
    9. Stain removal and a whole lot more to take care of any type of cloth materials.
  • What are the pricing for these services?

    Washmen has a minimum order value of AED 45 per order for clean & press, and press only services. All other services are charged based on the number of bags.

  • What are the operating hours and areas for Laundry?

    Washmen currently provides their service in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The operating hours are 9 AM to 11.30 PM all days of the week.

  • What are the types of services offered?

    Washmen offers 5 different types of laundry services:

    1. Press only for clean clothes that need pressing (White bags)
    2. Clean & Press for professional garment care (Green bags)
    3. Wash & Fold for items that don’t need pressing (Blue bags)
    4. HomeCare for all your home linens (Pink bags)
    5. ShoeCare for cleaning and restoration of shoes (Orange bags)

  • How to order for laundry services?

    To request an order:

    1. Select ‘Laundry’ on the Careem app
    2. Select the type of service
    3. Fill in your address details*, order type, pick & drop times
    4. Provide any important instructions needed
    5. Select your payment method
    6. Washmen’s driver will arrive at your location at the preferred time with colour-coded bags and for your first order will assist you in sorting out the laundry into various bags

    *Washmen will pickup and drop off your laundry from the same location ONLY. We cannot facilitate drop- off to a different location.

    If you are unavailable at the time of pickup or delivery there is no need to worry! Washmen can pickup & deliver items from outside your home or from the reception.

  • How to cancel or reschedule an order?

    You can cancel an order before the pickup time.
    For rescheduling an order, simply cancel the order and re-book as per your desired time. Rescheduling can be done only before the pickup time.

  • What happens if I missed a scheduled collection or delivery?

    If a pickup or delivery has failed you will receive a ‘Pickup failed’ notification and you will have to schedule a new pickup.

  • Can I add extra items of laundry at pickup?

    When placing an order, you are not required to mention the number of items in the bag. All you have to do is order a pickup and give us as many bags of laundry as you want for cleaning.

  • What to do if an item is missing or damaged?

    If an item is missing or damaged, please reach out to Washmen here. Washmen will need 5 to 7 days to investigate the issue and will get back to you with a resolution.

  • What if I am not satisfied with the service quality?

    If an item is not cleaned and/or ironed to meet your expectations, please reach out to Washmen customer care, who will arrange for a re-cleaning of the items.
